Full Mountain Circle is the seventh book of The Mountain Series.  The Cannon Trust, established by Wyatt Cannon’s ancestors, still exists.  Wyatt was Chairman of the Trust for many years but is now retired.  His daughter, Angie, is now the Chair.

Wyatt and his son, JD, partnered with the Trust to purchase a large ranch in South Africa.  They named it the Ashley Ranch, after JD’s mother.  The ranch raises cattle and horses, and JD conducts hunting and photo safaris.  Wyatt found gold on the ranch, and the resulting mining is highly profitable. JD has recently married Brie, an Englishwoman he met on a safari he led on the ranch.  The honeymoon took them to England and then to the Cannon Ranch west of Denver.  When staying in Dale’s original cabin high in the mountains, Brie’s dreams were visited by JD’s ancestors, not an unusual occurrence in the cabin. JD and Brie, accompanied by Wyatt and Ashley, return to South Africa because JD has to get everything ready for the safari season.  He and Brie take supplies to the safari camp, and they are attacked and kidnapped!  Wyatt leads the trackers while Ashley goes to talk with the Prime Minister.  Manny Sheffield, a former Marine sniper, is now the VP of Security.  He immediately flies to the ranch with a small team and rescues the couple.
